Food Friday #8: Fat Bob's Smokehouse

This week's my turn to decide the venue for food friday. I did research for almost four days and no, I'm not kidding you. Finally deciding on suposedly best barbeque in Buffalo — Fat Bob's! Located at 41 Virginia Place, Buffalo, NY 14202, Fat Bob's right next to Mother's (see food friday #4). The ambience casual, relaxed, with picnic-style tablecloths and a wall-sized aquarium separating the dining room from the bar. I ordered their famous St. Louis Pork Ribs, half rack with two sides (onions rings and hush puppies $12.25). FINGER-LICKIN-GOOD! It's done just right and the meat comes right off the bone. The sides are absolutely perfect too, and the portion's generous. Definitely recomend FATBOB's to anyone who has cravings for good BBQ. Rating: 5/5

Next time you feel like barbecue food, don't go back to Fat Bob's. There is a *much* better place in Buffalo for barbecue called Suzy Q's Bar-b-que Shack (2829 River Rd - take Niagara Street north and it's just past Riverside park, before you get to the GM Plant). This place is great and cheap. The service is slow and the place is small, but it's worth it!
